AI 7.1 Eliminations - Hello, Goodbye

Here we go. We gots Idols. They be singin' songs like all as a group, yo. Beatles is good junk. Sweet.

Sorry. I just went insane for a moment.

But I will note here that the Lennin-McCartney theme was so popular that the Idols will get another crack at it next week. Cool. For everyone but Archuleta it's cool. Arch needs to start studying his lyrics NOW.

I'm going to cut right to the chase here...

The bottom 3 are:
  • Syesha Mercado
  • Kristy Lee Cook
  • David Hernandez
I have to say that while I'm really not a fan of Ramiele, this list is probably more than fair. Syesha sang OK, but wasn't great. Plus she had the dreaded first slot where it's so easy to forget someone. Kristy actually sang well, but her musical choice was not well suited to the known audience of the show. Plus, she really lacks in stage presence and overall entertainment value. David is plasticman. His singing is not entertaining and his stage presence is artificial and annoying.

I'm very pleased to announce that it's Plasticman going home tonight. I'm beyond thrilled. I'm ecstatic. I'm over the moon. I'm downright giddy.

I will not miss this talent-free Ken doll one iota.

And, when all is said and done, I'm even glad that he was eliminated based on talent, and not on any kind of morals issue. There can be no question now that this was the right elimination.

Now, next to go? I'm hoping Ramiele. Tune in next week to find out.
